Which tradesperson do I need to fix a bay window?
What tradesperson do I need to fix a bay window that has come away from the house after window replacement? The window is safe but needs structural support and filling.

Hello, for this you will need a window fitter, they should be able to fill the gap with expanding foam and then trim and seal with plastic. Hope this helps.
Alan Hughes, Sunshine 20 Windows and Doors, Retford
We would be happy to come and give you a quote thanks Alan.

You would need a survey on the bay window, there a few things it could be, has it got supports underneath? Is it a bow bay? Does it have brickwork underneath? Can you see fixings in the gap?
David Muldoon, WindowTec, Glasgow
Hi, you will require a window fitter or surveyor to inspect the job to determine what is causing the issues.

It is very difficult to tell what is needed here without seeing the job up close and carrying out a survey. Do you have any photos as this may help with the diagnoses? What area are you in and would you like to book an appointment for a survey?
Kind Regards
