What is the Offer?
To encourage the next generation of tradespeople, Checkatrade are giving away 100 National Book Tokens. Checkatrade members can apply to receive one of these tokens and a letter of thanks, which they can then reward to the tiny tradesperson who has shown an interest in the work carried out by Checkatrade members in their home.
If you are one of the first 100 checkatrade members to meet the Eligibility Criteria (defined below) between 9th December 2024 and 22nd December 2024 (inclusive) you will be entitled to a £10 National Book Tokens Gift Card (the “Gift Card”) (the “Offer”).
The Offer is subject to these Offer Terms and Conditions.
What are the key Offer Terms and Conditions?
There are 100 Gift Cards available, which will be given on a first come first served basis.
To receive the Gift Card, you must meet the Eligibility Criteria (see section 3).
There are Gift Card terms and conditions from National Book Tokens (see section 6).
What are the Eligibility Criteria?
To be eligible to receive the Gift Card you must meet the following criteria:
you must be a current Checkatrade Member; and
you must be one of the first 100 members to complete our Tiny Tradespeople form found here,
together these are the “Eligibility Criteria”.
When will I receive the Gift Card?
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria above, Checkatrade will email the Gift Card to the email address registered with your Checkatrade Membership within 10 working days.
Are there any Gift Card specific terms and conditions?
The Gift Card will be issued by National Book Tokens (“Gift Card Provider”).
The Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions of the Gift Card Provider which can be found within the “National Book Tokens gift cards terms and conditions” located here: https://www.nationalbooktokens.com/terms-and-conditions.
The Gift Card can only be used to purchase books and audiobooks.
You may use the Gift Card at participating retailers only, for a list of participating Retailers, please see https://www.nationalbooktokens.com/find-a-bookshop.
Gift Cards expire 8 years from the date of issuance.
The Gift Card Provider is not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission.
Is there anything else I need to know?
The Offer is personal to the recipient and is not transferable to any other person or company.
It is your responsibility to pass the Gift Card on to the tiny tradesperson and checkatrade holds no liability in relation to this.
Checkatrade will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to the Gift Card, nor will it be liable to replace or reimburse the value of a lost, stolen, damaged or faulty Gift Cards.
This Offer may be changed or withdrawn by Checkatrade at any time. However, should you sign up prior to the date of change or withdrawal, Checkatrade will honour the Offer.
Checkatrade reserves the right to substitute the Gift Card with another gift card of equal or greater value if the Gift Card is not available or cannot be provided.
No cash alternative will be given.
The Offer is for one Gift Card per checkatrade member.
The Offer is exclusive and is not available in additional to any other Checkatrade offers and promotions.
A waiver of any right or remedy under the Offer Terms and Conditions or by law shall not be deemed a waiver of any other or subsequent right or remedy.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: a) Checkatrade’s total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Offer Terms and Conditions whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in be limited to the value of the Voucher to which you are entitled or £10, whichever is lower; and b) Checkatrade shall not be liable to you for any loss of profits, sales or business, or any indirect or consequential losses.
