How much is it to fix a hole in the wall?

The cost to repair a hole in your drywall or plasterboard will depend on the severity of the damage to your wall and the remedy required.

For a foot-shaped/size hole in the wall, you can expect a professional plasterer or handyperson to charge at least £120 for the repair. This cost includes labour and the materials to fill in that gaping hole.

To plaster a small crack you can expect the cost to be around £100.

If, for example, the damage is so severe that a repair or patch up isn't going to resolve the issue, then additional costs will be required and you will need to work with a plasterer to apply new drywall and plastering. There's more on this cost here in our costs to plaster a room cost guide.
