September Release Notes - Consumer
These are all the new features and bug fixes we have released in September that impact Consumers.

For consumers
Paying just got simpler. Customers can now use Apple Pay or Google Pay — meaning fewer abandoned payments and faster checkouts.
Saved Card Management (SUT-608)
For consumers
Cards can now be saved, updated, or removed in seconds. Expiry warnings help avoid payment hiccups, while one-tap saving makes repeat payments smoother.
Search Results Pages – Web Migration (SUT-605)
For consumers
Our search results are now on the new web stack. That means a faster, more stable experience for users and an easier-to-update platform for us.
AI Triage & Case Closure (SUT-581)
For trades & consumers
More cases are now categorised and closed automatically. Feedback loops keep improving resolution speed and accuracy.
Job Estimator 2.0 (SUT-577)
For consumers
We’ve rebuilt our estimator for speed, flexibility, and data tracking. Consumers get faster pricing, while we gain better insights on usage.
Surface Pricing Data (SUT-572)
For consumers
Standardised pricing now appears in service listings. Consumers see fair benchmarks upfront, helping them decide with confidence. We’ve also published 75 dynamic pricing tables powered by our estimator. They refresh regularly for accuracy and improve search visibility.
Soft Opt-in (SUT-568)
For consumers
Marketing sign-up is now simpler and compliant. New accounts across all platforms include soft opt-in, stored safely in preferences.
Smart Calls – Infrastructure Upgrade (SUT-565)
For trades & consumers
We’ve switched to a new calling system with SMS support, spam handling, and smarter routing. Calls connect more reliably.
Reduce Duplicate Leads (SUT-558)
For trades & consumers
We’ve reduced duplicate RAQ jobs by filtering email, location, and category. Consumers avoid repeat pings, trades get cleaner pipelines.
Show Bookable Services on Profiles (SUT-552)
For consumers
Profile pages now display all priced services, no matter how you get there. It’s faster for consumers to discover and book.
