4. If the oven light bulb glass has broken into pieces, use a vacuum cleaner to remove all broken glass from the light bulb holder
5. Using either your hands or pliers, gently remove the broken light bulb from the socket

Option 1 – Check for screws

Before you start twisting and yanking the “stuck” oven light bulb cover, use a torch to check that there aren’t small screws that you need to remove first. If there are, grab your screwdriver and remove the screws – the light bulb cover should then come off easily.

Option 2 – Use a lubricant

Try spraying a lubricant around the stuck light bulb cover and let it sit for a few minutes. That can often loosen the cover enough to get it off
