Here's a quick summary of just one of the updates we're making to help you continue to build trust with people and win more work.
We know that trust is key when it comes to winning work. That’s why at Checkatrade we’re committed to helping you stand out by giving customers total confidence in choosing you for the job.
To do this, we’ll be making a few updates to our vetting process, in line with new regulatory guidelines coming into effect from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on 1st April 2025.
Why this is great news for you
In line with these changes, we’ll be widening our vetting process to cover you, your employees, subcontractors and all your onsite workers, ensuring that every job meets the highest standards.
So, what do you need to do next?
Anyone in the following categories will need to be added in the My Team section of the app under My Account and we will carry out 5 simple vetting checks.
Onsite workers (directors, business partners or employees on your payroll who work on-site)
Onsite subcontractors (tradespeople, consultants, or agency staff)
Once approved, your team will appear in the app with a vetted badge which you can show to your customers. To learn more about the checks we carry out, watch the short video below:
