Aluminium is great for conducting heat, and aluminium radiators use less water than steel radiators. This makes them a fantastic choice for radiators and a good alternate if you want more efficient heating.
But, what are the disadvantages of aluminium radiators? Well:
- You’ll have to replace all of your radiators with aluminium ones to reduce the risk of heating corrosion.
- There’s a greater up-front cost.
- They’re very quick to get cold so are not ideal for winter months.
